Welcome to DadConnexx Open Gym!! It is going to be an unforgettable bouncing experience. 

Please sign all participants up by clicking the "REGISTER" button. This will lead you to create a profile a profile for you and your athletes. This information is necessary for insurance purposes through the Alberta Gymnastics Federation.

**ALL PARTICIPANTS WHO WISH TO JUMP WILL NEED TO BE REGISTERED AND WAIVER FORMS AUTHORIZED FOR THIS EVENT. THIS DOES INCLUDE PARENTS AND ALL CHILDREN.

To finalize your sign up, you will be asked to go through "YOUR CART." There is no purchase required for participating in a party. This will lead you to the Alberta Gymnastics Federation Liability Waivers and PIPA forms. These are required for participation in the event. Your athlete, and yourself will not be allowed to participate without a signed waiver. 

What to Wear - We suggest light, form fitting clothing to bounce around in. T-shirts, shorts, sweat pants, leggings and tank tops are the best. Please no jeans or clothing items with buttons or zippers as this can be caught in the equipment. Also, please no poofy "party dresses." These can hinder your athletes movements and can create a safety issue. Athletes can wear socks or bare feet, no shoes or slippers.

Safety Rules and Reminders: Although we want your jumpers to have a trick-tastic time, safety is our number one priority. Airborne coaches reserve the right to enforce all Airborne and equipment safety rules. Participants not following these rules, may be asked to leave the gym floor. 

Trampoline Rules: Our trampolines are Olympic style competitive trampolines and are extremely bouncy. They generate more height and force than a black bed trampoline. Therefore the following rules are strictly enforced:

  • One participant allowed one a trampoline at one time. Unless given permission by a qualified Airborne coach.  
  • Athletes must jump in the middle of the trampolines. Athletes should never jump from trampoline to trampoline or from trampoline to the floor. Always land with both feet on the same surface. 
  • Stop jumping when a coach says STOP. 
  • Athletes must have permission from an qualified Airborne coach to flip on these trampolines. They will need to show physical readiness and skill preparation in order to be allowed to flip on one of Airborne trampolines. As stated above, these trampolines generate greater force and rotation, athletes must show that they are able to land and fall safety prior to allowed to flip. 
  • Jump at a height where you can comfortably maintain control of your body. Only try skills within your skill level and ability.
  •  Upright knee drops are NOT ALLOWED on one of Airborne trampolines. Upright knee drops are extremely dangerous and can lead to back injury. 

If an athlete can not follow the above safety rules, and other Airborne facility safety rules, they will be asked to leave the gym space. These rules are posted throughout the gym space.
