FAQs

What does my child wear to class?

How do I register for a class, workshop, party, drop in, etc?

My child can do a front flip on our trampoline at home, when will they flip at Airborne?

T&T can be a dangerous sport, and at Airborne, safety is our number one priority! We want athletes to progress onto those tricky flipping skills but first we need to make sure their basics and fundamentals are almost second nature. These skills such as back and stomach drops, forwards and backwards rolls become athletes “bail” skills. Our trampolines are standard competitive style, the same type used at the Olympics. The trampolines are more bouncier than a backyard trampoline, and those found at most trampoline parks. Athletes will jump higher and will rotate faster, doing those basics become a necessity when learning flipping on our trampolines. Our coaches also focus on doing skills with proper form and technique. All of our athletes are not only taught skills but how to do these skills technically correct. This is also necessary to advanced to higher skills, all skills are built upon themselves. If your athlete is not taught how to do skill A correctly, they will have a hard time with skill B, and will not be able to achieve skill C.

We also instruct the athletes on complex noninversion skills such as cradles, cruises, corkscrews, etc. These skills are not just fun complex skills, but also become builder skills advanced tricking.

If you’re athlete already has experience with T&T, they will move along to their appropriate skill level when our your athlete is showing physical and mental readiness to perform the skill as safe as possible, and technically correct.

No more stressful registration dates! No more marking calendars! We are now offering a continuous monthly programming model that runs in the months of January – June. Register just once to secure your spot and registration will automatically rollover each month until June 2025.

Once classes have started in January, registration is ongoing and participants can enroll in an available class at anytime. Once enrolled, participants are able to transfer classes, level up or age up to the next available class when they are ready.

Once a month has begun and fees have been paid, participants will be committed to that month. All cancellation requests for the upcoming month must be received in writing and confirmed  to airbornettoperations@gmail.com before the 15th of the current month.

How and when are fees processed for Rollover Monthly Payments?

What happens if my payment is declined?

How do I withdraw my athlete from a program?

If my child can not attend class tonight, can I get a make up class?

Can athletes change class times?

We understand that situations can change and participants may age up, level up or a family’s schedule may adjust. Therefore, participants may transfer to a different class at any time, as long as there is availability. If there is a price difference, we will make the necessary adjustments at the time of the transfer.

We reserve the right to switch a student to a different class due to low enrollment, when the participant has difficulty keeping up with the class, lacks sufficient skills compared to the other students, or would be more successful in a different class. All students must meet the pre-requisite age requirement before attending the class, unless permission is granted by our management team.

We also understand that each of our team members has a diverse and unique teaching style and not every participant and coach combination is the right fit.  We want everyone to love their Airborne experience, so please bring any concerns you may have to our immediate attention so we can work together to find an appropriate solution.

Will my athlete get a report card, or is there a testing program?

For our Recreational Levels 1-6, skill building is ongoing and athletes will “level up” when all skills in their current level are mastered. Coaches will recommend an athlete to move up to a more advanced program as the weeks progress. We hold a more formal “testing week” every 8-10 weeks to ensure coaches are keeping their records up to date, and athletes will be sent home with a updated skill testing sheet. To view which weeks formal testing will happen, bounce onto: January - June 2024 Fee Calendar and Monthly Costs

Account holders will be contacted by our office when their athlete has passed a level and we recommend them moving into a different class. Please feel free to contact our office anytime with questions about a participant’s progress. Each participant may progress at a different rate and we are here to help them along in their journey and meet them where they are at. Our goal is to ensure they are excited about coming to gymnastics and that they feel success along the way.

Please note that our recreational classes do contain multiple levels and “leveling up” does not necessarily require a class transfer.
